Dr. Minori is double-boarded physician specializing in non-surgical management of neuromusculoskeletal disorders as well as acute and chronic pain conditions. He completed his fellowship in pain medicine at the University of California Davis. His residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation was completed at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital/University of Chicago. Dr. Minori is determined to help patients regain function and improve their overall quality of life using a comprehensive patient-centered approach to care.
Before attending medical school, he earned a degree in athletic training and worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer in high schools, colleges and physical therapy clinics. Inspired by his father who was a chiropractor, he chose to complete his medical school training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has been active in conducting research throughout his training. He has published in various journals and co-authored several book chapters. He also spent an additional year as a research fellow at the world-renowned Rothman Orthopedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. His specialized training and unique background allow him to treat a wide variety of conditions and injuries. He offers diverse treatment options with the goal of reducing pain and alleviating suffering. He is in network with all insurances.
Dr. Minori lived in Salt Lake City prior to attending medical school and has been waiting for an opportunity to come back to Utah. His hobbies include anything that involves being outside and enjoying the outdoors.
